As the benefits services coordinator in the insurance division of American National Bank of Texas, Shannon Hansen has been with the bank since 2006.

“American National Bank of Texas supports my philosophy that our customers are the most important people on earth and that it is our job to assist them with their business growth, development, employee relations and employee retention,” says Shannon.

Prior to joining American National Bank of Texas, Shannon spent 12 years as a nursing home social worker and administrator. Since joining American National Bank of Texas, Shannon has had success serving law firms, nursing homes, home health agencies and the manufacturing industries.

Shannon is a member of the Dallas Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Health Underwriters, and volunteers for several organizations including Meals on Wheels, Young Men’s Service League and Chase Oaks Church.

Shannon has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and human services administration from Hastings College and a Master of Science in studies in aging from University of North Texas.
