Terrell, Texas — October 21, 2011 — Larry Parks was recently elected to the board of directors for American National Bank of Texas headquartered in Terrell, Texas.
Larry Parks is a senior vice president of business development in Rockwall and has been with American National Bank of Texas for 22 years. Parks received his degree from The University of Texas at Austin and received certification from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU. With 41 years of banking experience, his commitment and focus remain on helping his business clients grow and prosper.

In addition to his banking experience, Parks has held several board positions including president of The Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Dallas, the Rockwall YMCA, the Rockwall Rotary, the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) and the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as Board of Trustees for Lake Pointe Medical Center and Chairman of the Rockwall Economic Development Corporation. Parks remains heavily involved in his community as a member of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce Ambassador’s Group, NTMWD, Rockwall YMCA and Rockwall Noon Rotary.
Parks currently resides in Rockwall with his wife Sheri where they are active members of the First United Methodist Church. Together they have three children.
