Ben J. Trahan, vice president and commercial lender of the Allen banking location, has been with American National Bank of Texas since 2012.
 
“I take pride in being a true community banker,” says Ben. “I enjoy guiding business owners through the lending process and helping them increase their opportunity to succeed.”
 
With more than 15 years of banking experience, Ben has been particularly successful serving law firms, construction firms and medical offices.
 
A 2012 Collin County Business Press 40 Under 40 honoree, Ben is a member of the City of Allen Planning and Zoning Commission, the Foundation for Allen Schools director, Allen Kiwanis Club Director, Allen and Lovejoy ISD Kids Against Hunger participant through Allen Kiwanis Club, and a guest speaker for Business Professionals of America for Allen ISD.
 
Ben has a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. He also attends the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and is pursuing a MS in management at Texas A&M Commerce.
