As vice president of the Sachse banking center, John Cooper has been serving area American National Bank of Texas customers since June 2012.
“I was a commercial and personal banking customer first, so I know that American National Bank of Texas always approaches the business of banking on a personal level,” says John. “Joining such a great team allows me to develop new relationships and further existing relationships with our customers.”
John has almost 20 years of banking experience that he brings to his position at American National Bank of Texas. With past positions including president of Cooper Business Information Services, Inc. and independent bank consultant, John has been successful using his expertise to serve professional trade associations and community banks.
John is a past director and officer of the Sachse and Wylie chambers of commerce as well as a past assistant scoutmaster and troop committee member for Boy Scouts Troop 57 in Garland.
John has a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics and a Master of Agriculture from Texas A&M University, and he is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
