American National Bank of Texas Opens New Banking Center in Heath as Part of Continued Growth Throughout the Region

New location marks ANBTX’s fourth banking center in Rockwall County and continues the bank’s strategic expansion across North Texas

American National Bank of Texas (ANBTX), one of the oldest and largest independently owned banks in North Texas, recently announced the opening of its newest banking center in Heath. Located at 482 Laurence Dr., the center is ANBTX’s fourth location in Rockwall County, one of the fastest-growing counties in Texas.
 
The new banking center is part of the bank’s year-long celebration of its 150th anniversary and reinforces ANBTX’s long-standing commitment to supporting economic growth as well as the local businesses and families in the communities it serves. Additionally, the Heath location expands ANBTX’s North Texas footprint to more than 30 locations and will provide a full suite of services, including business and commercial lending. A larger grand-opening celebration is planned in early 2026.

Located at the corner of FM 549 and FM 550, the new Heath banking center offers added convenience for customers throughout Rockwall and Kaufman counties—communities ANBTX has long served and proudly calls home since 1875. The opening continues the bank’s strategic growth and revitalization of locations across North Texas, following recent investments including a new loan production office in South Dallas in late 2024, the renovation of its Burleson banking center in 2022, and the opening of its new Forney location in 2021.
