An active member of the North Texas community, McKinney senior vice president Rick Lewis has helped American National Bank of Texas commercial customers by building and maintaining strong relationships and mutual trust since 2004.

Prior to his work at American National Bank of Texas, Rick worked in title company abstracting, loan closing, FNMA/FHMC underwriting and packaging and is the former owner/partner of Whatley Sign Company, Inc. owner of Ad Out, LLC. Rick has had success serving attorneys, CPAs, physicians, home building, land development, structured settlements, funeral home operations, insurance auditors, hospitals, multi-family, mortgages, retail/office construction, churches, hotel/motels, restaurants and the outdoor advertising industry, and knows that business owners want to deal with people they trust and that have the autonomy to make decisions and meet their needs.
Rick is chairman of the governing board of Centennial Medical Center (a Tenet Hospital), chairman of the finance committee, deacon, and BFG director at Prestonwood, former chairman of board of HCA McKinney, former vice-chairman of North Texas Medical Center, and former president of the foundation board of Christus St. Michael Hospital. He is also a former committee or board member of the following organizations: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, McKinney ISD, Trinity Christian School, Arkansas Outdoor Advertising Association, City of McKinney - Board of Adjustment, Eldorado Country Club, Mortgage and Real Estate Finance Division of the Texas Banker’s Association, Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, YMCA and Focus on the Family.
Rick has a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Christian University and attended Southwestern Graduate School of Banking Foundation at Southern Methodist University. He also has certifications in real estate lending from the University of Wisconsin and multiple appraisal certifications from the University of Houston.
