Dallas, Texas – American National Bank of Texas has hired Richard Whitman as Director of Mortgage Sales and Operations. Whitman started work with ANBTX in 2015. He brings with him 25 years of mortgage banking experience and leadership. His responsibilities will include developing and managing the mortgage sales and operations for one of the oldest and most respected community banks in Texas.

American National Bank of Texas reports of Home Depot data breach

American National Bank of Texas (ANBTX) is aware that Home Depot reported a data breach on debit cards used to make purchases in its stores from April through September of this year. If your ANBTX debit card was impacted by this security breach, you will receive a letter from us informing you of steps we are taking to replace your existing card. Please note: your current card will remain active until you activate your new card, or until October 28th, at which time your current card will be closed. This replacement is a proactive step to protect your account and does not indicate that there has been any confirmed fraud on your account.

American National Bank of Texas is proud to announce the promotion of Tori Lucas to vice president of commercial lending at the Terrell Banking Center. She has been with ANBTX since January of 2008. In addition to her promotion, Lucas has been awarded the James B. Gardner Commerce Street Capital Scholarship by the SW Graduate School of Banking. This prestigious grant, awarded on the basis of merit and leadership, is given to second and third year students who best represent the educational ideals of the SW Graduate School of Banking.

American National Bank of Texas is aware of Target’s data breach on debit cards that its customer used to make purchases in its stores between the dates of November 27-December 15 and we are taking precautionary steps to protect your account information.  However, we would like to encourage you to monitor your account activity via ANBTX online banking. In the event you suspect any unauthorized activity on your card or you have additional questions regarding this breach, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1.800.837.6584 or call the number on the back of your card.
