Mike Rideau

From being the first in his family to go to college (earning degrees in Finance and Marketing from SMU) to excelling as a student athlete—Mike broke records in track and made the All-American team in football—to serving and supporting his community, Mike has been an instrumental part of our ANBTX team.

In 1976, he started his banking career and—lucky for us—he has called ANBTX home for the last 13 years. Along the way, he’s helped hundreds of customers (and colleagues) while forming lifelong relationships and friendships. Additionally, he’s dedicated numerous hours working as a board member for several local charities as well as serving in his church.

In retirement, he plans to spend some of his time pursuing the frustrating but rewarding game of golf. And most importantly, he will be watching his five grandchildren grow up while spending as much time as he can with his daughters, Chandra and Jonina, as well as his wife of 42 years, Nedra. (He plans to do “whatever she asks him to”, which we think sounds like a smart strategy.)
