Makenna Wagoner
Makenna is a Financial Advisor for ANBTX Investment Services. She brings over 10 years of knowledge and experience in finance and entrepreneurship to her role, with a strong background in retirement planning, client service, and financial education. She possesses a strong business foundation with a client-focused approach to financial guidance, using a detail-oriented, process-driven approach to helping individuals, families, and business owners navigate their financial decisions with confidence.
Throughout her career, Makenna has been deeply involved in client relationship management, operational support, and education initiatives. She has helped organize and support client education and appreciation events, and values clear communication and financial literacy as essential components of long-term success. Makenna is passionate about building trust, simplifying complex financial topics, and providing thought support tailored to each client’s goals. She has extensive experience supporting employer-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k)s and pensions, and has worked closely with clients to explain plan features, investment options, and long-term retirement strategies.
Outside work, Makenna is actively engaged in her community through the Garland and Sachse Chambers of Commerce, as well as the Northeast Dallas County Kiwanis Club, where she currently serves as Vice President and is President-Elect. Her involvement reflects her commitment to service, leadership, and making a positive impact both professionally and locally. Makenna currently resides in Sachse, Texas, with her husband and two dogs.
Makenna graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Economics and a concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. She holds a Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) certification, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses, along with the Texas Life, Accident, and Health Insurance license.
